This podcast would be banned in Russia, and we would be in jail for producing it. In our conversation, we use language to describe the crisis in Ukraine including vocabulary that is currently illegal in Russia. We talk about “war,” “aggression,” and “invasion.” Chris and Scotty are joined by the President of the Halifax International Security Forum, Peter Van Praagh, fresh from his travels to Ukraine as we enter week three of the war that is changing everything. Canada and the US, along with the NATO alliance are unified in opposition to the Russian war on Ukraine, yet are searching for the right tools to support the people of Ukraine. One thing is clear, according to our guest, Putin will lose. Its just a matter of how long it will take.
